In addition to our consulting services and solutions, Avant Systems Group is an Atlassian Solution Partner, providing a full range of professional services supporting the full Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, etc.) including sales, configuration and setup, managed hosting, data migration and custom plugin development.

The Job

• Maintenance and support of the Internal IT infrastructure (laptops, printers, servers, network)
• Participate in customer Atlassian Projects with a focus on migrations (platform migrations, Server to Cloud, migrations from other tools to Atlassian, etc.)

This position will have a progression of responsibilities based on demonstrated expertise.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Customer facing experience and ability to directly support at tier 1, 2 & 3 technical support levels.
• Previous experience with administering Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo) would be an asset.
• Experience supporting and maintaining Windows and Linux servers, as well as firewalls.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Proxmox, etc. Understanding of creating and integrating public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, OVH, etc.
• Experience working with relational databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, and/or Oracle.
• Experience working with various forms of user authentication, Two/Multi Factor Authentication (2FA/MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO).
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills. Adaptable, flexible, and able to meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
• Reliable, responsible and motivated. Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated experience working on requirements and specifications, estimates, and technical documentation

Experience
years of experience as a Systems Administrator, Application Support Specialist, Infrastructure Specialist or similar

• Experience in providing IT consulting services to clients would be an asset.
