About the Role

The Manager, Academic and Administrative Services provides operational, financial and administrative management for the School of Environmental Science, including the Environmental Science undergraduate program and the joint BCIT/SFU MSc in Ecological Restoration program.

The Manager is responsible for the development of new initiatives, policies, and administrative procedures that help structure and enhance the profile of the School.

The Manager directs all activities related to course offerings and curriculum; oversees the appointment and evaluation of instructors and other teaching staff; oversees the planning and implementation of faculty and support staff hiring; participates in long range planning and development for the program; and provides academic advice and administrative support to prospective and registered students.
