The Senior Biostatistician reports to the Director, OHTN Cohort Study (OCS) and is responsible for performing statistical analyses of OHTN Cohort Study (OCS) and other OHTN HIV-related data.
Responsibilities
- Conduct data scans and statistical analyses of OCS and other OHTN HIV-related project data.
- Apply advanced statistical methods, including mixed-effects models, generalized estimating equations, survival analysis, and other time-varying methods to analyze and interpret complex longitudinal data.
About You
+- Masters degree or higher in biostatistics epidemiology or statistics required 5+ years experience in statistical analysis in epidemiological public health or health services research proven experience leading data management and statistical analyses with complex longitudinal data from multiple sources knowledge about hiv aids epidemiology research methods employed using sociodemographic psychosocial clinical data sources demonstrated advanced sas sql programming skills proficiency in r considered as an asset strong understanding of warehouse architecture outstanding analytical skills excellent scientific writing skills ability to work independently collaboratively team player superior written oral communications skills problem-solving organizational project management skills ability to manage competing shifting priorities experience mentoring staff leading projects
