Position Summary

The Hastings Prince Edward Lower Limb Preservation Project Manager (HPE LLP PM) will work collaboratively with the Hastings Prince Edward Ontario Health Team partners, Quinte Health, Kingston Health Sciences in the development, facilitation and implementation of an integrated diabetes management and lower limb preservation program.

This role includes project management, managing and facilitating a project plan through community and stakeholder engagement, communications, activity reporting, and providing support to the implementation team.

The HPE LLP PM reports to the Director Operations HPE LLP at Quinte Health.


Completion of operational tasks and coordinating the tasks of the project team members is required as the group develops and implements a project plan that covers all communities in the Hastings Prince Edward region.

To be successful, HPE LLP PM will build relationships with key stakeholders across a vast array of community and hospital partners.


The deliverables and responsibilities of this role will evolve to match the direction of the project team and the direction of the Hastings Prince Edward Ontario Health Team.

Required

  • PMP certificate preferred
  • Master's Degree in health or business administration preferred or 3 plus years related project management experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years' related Project Management experience with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated understanding of local health issues, priorities and needs while recognizing the broader trends in health care policy and system development required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the unique needs and cultural context of health care delivery within the indigenous communities
  • Sound written and verbal communications skills to, facilitate meetings, capture action plans, write presentations, briefing notes, and ensure time lines are met is required.
  • Ability to plan and implement engagement meetings and resolve issues/concerns.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to build positive working relationships with partners, influence decision making and adoption of change initiatives.
  • Facilitation skills to develop and conduct meetings with multiple stakeholders and service providers.
  • Project management skills to plan, develop work plans and lead concurrent projects, to work collaboratively with partners and other team members and to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Financial management skills to develop and monitor budgets and agreements/contracts, manage the approval process, identify and resolve issues affecting the ability to deliver on deadline and on budget.
  • Experience in data analytics, epidemiology and information synthesis
  • Knowledge of health care reporting requirements and funding methodologies, cs knowledge/familiarity with various databases used to capture information in the primary care and hospital sectors.
  • Good work and attendance record is required.
