Position Summary:

The faculty of Social Work is currently seeking a Graduate Student Research Assistant to assist with knowledge mobilization activities based on the findings of a qualitative study of addiction counselors, or outreach workers in Saskatchewan


The main tasks include:
- assisting with final report writing
- assisting with developing, planning, and delivering tailored Knowledge Translation activities (e.g. plain language summary of findings; creating audiovisual material based on the project findings)

Position Requirements


Position Requirements:


  • A graduate student with a knowledge of treatment issues related to addictions and counseling
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Attention to detail, ability to work independently
  • Strong computer skills (All Microsoft Office Programs, Adobe Acrobat, CANVA, or other tools)
  • Experience with using qualitative data software NVivo
Physical Demands Pay Grade As Per CUPE 2419 Salary Range Per CUPE 2419 Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours

10-15 hours/week

Duration (if Term/Temporary) August 8, 2022 to March 31, 2023 Full-Time/Part-Time Casual Preference Posting Target Posting
