What you'll be doing

In collaboration with Project Managers and information collected at the scene of a disaster, you will be responsible for producing estimates representing the costs of restoring and repairing damage to buildings.
Reviewing estimates or submissions to ensure a proper reflection of refurbishment methodologies, estimate appropriate costs, and meet On Side's standards and policies.
Occasionally, the role includes conducting ontheroad visits to disaster sites to determine the extent of the disaster, identify materials and measurements.
Create detailed quotes of the postdisaster building repair.
Analyze quotes and quotes.
Use Xactimate and XactAnalysis automated rating systems.
Offer technical assistance to project managers on the different types of mandates and appropriate costs (emergency, asbestos removal, reconstruction, content).
Participate in negotiations to secure reclamation cost agreements.

What we're looking for

Certificate in Construction Estimation
5 years of experience in disaster estimation.
Mastery of Xactimate estimation software.
Technical and practical knowledge of disaster building restoration (CNB, IICRC).
Planning and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Client service orientation.
