  • Job SummaryNatural Resource Information & Digital Services (NRIDS) is the information management/information technology (IM/IT) service provider and organizational partner to the Natural Resource Ministries (NRM). As the centralized authority for all information, geospatial data, and technology across the NRM, NRIDS is leading the transformation and modernization of business practices through new and innovative technology solutions, continuous improvement projects and operational IM/IT solutions.


The Team Lead Infrastructure and Middle-Tier position will create, maintain, and modify the enabling policies, architectures, standards, and processes for the sector's technology infrastructure that supports sector business functions.


Job Requirements:


  • Degree, diploma, certification or equivalent in the computer science field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience in administering and supporting critical Windows and Linux infrastructure / Enterprise environments.
  • Two years experience managing projects and developing action plans.
  • Two years experience troubleshooting, designing, implementing software/hardware and management solutions.
  • Experience leading and mentoring staff
  • Experience with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and modern Software Engineering practices.
  • Experience with using Ansible, JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket tools, and/or version control Systems
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Experience with cloud based containerized environments. (eg. AWS, Azure, Openshift, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with developing migration strategies for new technologies (eg. onprem to cloud, OS/middletier upgrades)
