Role Description


As a member of Ridley Windows & Doors West sales team, you will be the key link between our products and our customers.

This is a full-time Sales Account Manager role with a hybrid work setup.

As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, generating leads, and providing excellent customer service.

You'll be responsible for generating new business and ensuring the growth of existing accounts to increase the organization's market share.

Head office is located in Campbellvile, however this role is primarily remote, covering parts of the GTHA, the Golden Horseshoe and all of South Western Ontario.


Qualifications

Opportunity & Client Management:


  • Identify and engage potential customers to promote and sell the company's window and door products.
  • Understand customer requirements, provide product information, and offer solutions that meet their needs.
  • Ensure that established clients are satisfied with our products and services.
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and other sales strategies.
  • Develop new relationships and generate sales to grow the organization's market share.
  • Enter opportunities into CRM in timely manner and manage life cycle.
  • Review open opportunities and ensure timely followup with prospects.
  • Timely communication and/or action when given leads from sales management.
  • Collaborate with architects, builders, and contractors to influence product specifications in relevant projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Keep detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback.

Product & Sales Knowledge:


  • Prepare sales presentations and proposals that explain product specifications, ensuring accuracy and clarity in communication.
  • Prepare project file and contract requirements for submission to administrative team.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market developments.
  • Acquire a deep understanding of our various products including differentiating factors on competitive products.
  • Product training as required.

Other Responsibilities:


  • Achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Completing takeoffs for new construction projects, or preliminary measurements for retrofit sales.
  • Use of various supplierprovided quoting systems to price projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the window and door industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction, architecture or related fields.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Goaloriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and basic computer skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
