Saige Homecare has been honored to provide exceptional care in Calgary and surrounding communities for over 10 years.Saige Homecare is currently looking for caring and compassionate Health Care Aides for ALL SHIFTS
- Parttime and Fulltime hours available. We are looking for day and evening shifts.
- Opportunities range from caring for clients in home environments on a 1:1 basis and for seniors and/or persons with disabilities in facility and hospital settings.
- We have shifts with elderly clients in their homes and in facilities, shifts with child clients in their homes, and shifts to provide staffing support in facilities.
- Preference will be given to caregivers who are willing and able to drive clients.

- Are a nursing student looking for seasonal work
- Are a Community Support Worker with experience
- Comfort around pets will be an asset.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assistance with all activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Ability to follow Care Plan
- Documentation, Reporting and Charting
- Ambulation and transporting clients
- Medication reminders and monitoring
- Mobility assistance
- Alzheimer's and dementia care
Requirements:
- Health Care Aide Certificate or Certified Healthcare Professional from country of origin is preferred; other disciplines are reviewed
- Valid CPR/First Aid at Health Care Professional Level
- Current Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (Completed in the last 6 months)
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Access to a computer and cell phone
- Driver's license in good standing with access to a reliable vehicle
All front line support staff at Saige Homecare are equipped with appropriate PPE, guidance and support from our skilled Client Care Managers.
