    We are looking for a Customer Service Assistant/Student at our Walker Gro-Bark Office & Processing Facility in Caledon, ON. This is a temporary position running from May to August of 2024. Students enrolled in post-secondary education are welcome to apply. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm.

    Reporting to the Customer Service Manager for Gro-Bark, the Customer Service Assistant is The Customer Service Assistant acts as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that administrative and dispatch duties are addressed in an effective and timely manner.

    This position involves assisting the Dispatch team and other areas of the company as required.

    It is imperative to be able to prioritize critical and urgent tasks in a logical and efficient manner to ensure daily activity flows smoothly.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Assisting with administrative and dispatch duties.
    Responding or redirecting email inquiries as needed.
    Maintaining records for all inbound and outbound materials including confirmations in the computer system of all outbound loads.
    Entering and confirming of both customer pick-up and delivery orders.
    Assisting with confirmation calls to customers advising of next day delivery.
    Troubleshooting within internal computer modules.


    Qualifications:
    Able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
    Attention to detail.
    Excellent customer service skills.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
    Proficient with computer applications and software.
    Other duties as assigned.
