Summary:

An Assistant Manager is needed to help manage daily retail operations of the pharmacy and supplement store and to support the Manager in achieving goals related to sales, customer service, and employee satisfaction.


Responsibilities:


  • Use all POS functionality to aid in managing the front shop of the pharmacy and supplement centre (sales, marketing, inventory management, cost management etc.)
  • Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions regarding products, resolving customer complaints, and helping customers to discover relevant products according to their needs
  • Aid in the management of inventory, including placing and receiving orders, and restocking shelves
  • Assist in merchandising and ensuring displays and shelves are always presentable and tidy
  • Work together with retail and pharmacy staff in a collaborative, team environment centered on customer care
  • Support manager in executing pricing strategy
  • Assist in executing marketing programs and initiatives including monthly flyer preparation and implementation of customer appreciation days
  • Work with team to create and maintain proper displays and signage
  • Foster and maintain relationships with suppliers
  • Ensure employees comply with all policies and procedures (e.g. dress code, health and safety, cleaning/housekeeping, etc.), leading by example

Qualifications:


  • Experience working in a retail store (pharmacy environment is an asset)
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on personalized customer care
  • Demonstrated passion for health and wellness
  • Experience in inventory management
  • Professional, selfmotivated individual with a team player attitude
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with differing deadlines
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to work flexible shifts which may include evenings and weekends

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Weekends as needed
