Before and After School Program - School Age Classroom
- 6:009:00am/2:305:30pm hours per week)
Job description Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Diploma in another related field
- First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate and have their own vehicle
You will be required to bring in:
- vulnerable criminal record check and Immunization records

Children's Ages - 5 to 12 years
Early Childhood Educators Specific Skills
- Assist in bringing the children to their school classroom
- Assist in picking up the children after school
- Assist in putting children on the bus in the morning for those that attend other schools
- Assist in taking children off the bus at the end of the day for the children that attend other schools
- Develop and implement childcare programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children,
- Leading taking children in interests, provide opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity, science, and cooking
- Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor,
- Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and wellbeing of children,
- Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with parents and other staff members,
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with coworkers and community service providers working with children.
- Support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children,
- Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors,
- Supervise staff, trainees or volunteers, assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records,
- Maintain daycare equipment and assist in daily cleaning and cooking duties,
- Attend all staff meetings
Salary:
From $18.00 per hour
