The opportunity

What you'll be doing

Customer service excellence. Communication. Attention to detail. Analyze financial statements using Felix or Excel spreadsheet.- Supervise and coach other Credit Analysts, as needed.- Utilize internal systems and credit reporting agencies to determine credit worthiness.- Compile credit evaluations, highlighting pertinent data with conclusion or recommendation. Handle customer appeals and inquiries, escalating when necessary.- Investigate potential fraud involving various parties.- Understand market, industry, and economic trends.- Recommend process improvements and participate in business continuity plans.

Successful Incumbent

In this role, we need someone with a solid critical thinking and analysis, with a knack for uncovering hidden insights.

They should be the type who can juggle multiple tasks with ease while still paying meticulous attention to detail.

We're looking for a team player who's also a self-starter, someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can keep cool under pressure.

And of course, discretion is key - this role requires a guardian of confidentiality, with excellent communication skills.

Foundational knowledge and experience to grow from- Post secondary education or equivalent working experience.- 3+ years of previous commercial credit experience is preferred.- Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
