The Assistant Manager at Sky Zone is an influential leader on the park management team.

Position Profile, The Assistant Manager is the cultural leader in the Sky Zone Park, ensuring the team has the knowledge and resources needed to focus on the Sky Zone core values: Make it Fun, keep it Safe, Be Healthy, Do Good and Deliver Wow. This position oversees all Managers on Duty and day-to-day operational functions and manages all programs, promotions and business development activities. This includes developing and implementing processes, ensuring a safe and functional operating environment for the team and guests, and consistently working to improve the Delivery of WoW guest experiences and operational efficiency.

The Assistant Manager leads the management team, providing coaching and development opportunities to Team Members at all levels.

In addition, this position is responsible for budget preparation and management, fund expenditures, developing strategic marketing and sales initiatives and invoice, supplies and vendor requirements.

In coordination with other management team members, this position is responsible for ensuring all elements of park safety, Team Member training, Guest Experience, and logistics are executed to standard, and team communication is coordinated and effective.

The Assistant Manager's ability to make sound decisions and tackle Guest Experience challenges is crucial to Sky Zone's success.

This position manages the park's day-to-day including maintenance, safety, administrative, and logístical functions. Serving as the Manager on Duty (MOD) is also a primary here are four additional areas of focus for the Assistant Managers

  • Keeping it Safe through successful management of the courts and maintenance team responsible for facility and court maintenance and repair. This also means maintaining all Sky Zone Safety and Risk Management standards.
  • Team Member Training and Communication, ensuring the team is welltrained, new Team Members are onboarded effectively and are knowledgeable about park offerings and programs.
  • Events Logistics, including the coordination of the Events Team to Deliver WoW
Scheduling is integral to this role, and previous scheduling experience is an asset. In addition, responsibilities include inventory management, IT support, survey management, etc.

Qualifications.

  • Education: Diploma
  • Previous experience as a manager in a guestfacing environment
  • Proven ability to motivate a team and drive culture to create results.
  • Previous sales and marketing experience and familiarity with leagues and tournaments are a plus.
  • Previous cashhandling experience is required.
  • Ability to solve problems under pressure while maintaining a fun, friendly environment.
  • Previous management experience with newtotheworkforce, parttime staff
  • Ability to work on weekends.

  • Deliver the park's monthly departmental goals by anticipating and recognizing business opportunities and leading the team to meet them.
  • Adopt and maintain Sky Zone standards, policies and procedures at all times, including but not limited to waiver policy, ASTM standards, court rules, guest service, food safety, etc.
  • Provide the team with a welcoming and mutually supportive work environment.
  • Resolve guest service issues with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ensure Team Members are knowledgeable about all products, programs and promotions offered.
  • Ensure inventory is managed appropriately and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Schedule team to meet the needs of the park and process payroll.
  • Ensure the park is clean, organized and ready to Deliver Wow at all times.
  • Execute guest surveys and manage results.
  • Manage the Fuel Zone to ensure all Sky Zone and local health department standards are met or exceeded.
  • Supervise weekly inspections of the courts, court maintenance projects and inventory to ensure all ASTM and Sky Zone standards are met or exceeded.
  • Complete and maintain injury and incident records using the Sky
