Description

DCI is an equal opportunity employer and has taken a Diversity Pledge to ensure our agency is advancing racial justice, identifying unconscious bias, educating our staff, and using our place marketing platform to advocate for change.

Our agency is also a member of the Diversity Action Alliance and Black Travel Alliance.

While this job posting is a guide, we welcome applicants that may bring diverse backgrounds, ideas, and experiences to DCI.

A Little Bit About You:

  • You thrive in fastpaced environments while understanding the importance of checking (and rechecking) details.
  • You enjoy writing blogs as much as figuring out how to shorten copy for impact on social media.
  • You're the grammar queen or king in your circle of friends.
  • You have a creative eye and can pair stunning visuals with copy for impactful digital content. A plus if you can create a visually stunning Instagram Story or Reel.
  • With everchanging social media algorithms and platforms, you're always down to try something new.
  • You have a passion for places. You love exploring the world (or your own backyard), meeting new people, engaging in local and authentic experiences and uncovering the interesting and uniqueness of places you visit.

What You'll Be Doing at DCI:

You will support 2-5 content marketing programs at any given point in time, depending on the complexity of the client.

You'll be expected to be constantly on top of the status of each of your projects and connect with other team members to meet deliverables.

  • Social Media: Create and schedule content for your clients using CoSchedule and Sprout Social.
  • Blogs: Write blogs aligning to client goals and optimized for SEO; upload and publish on client website (Wordpress).
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly reports showing progress against KPIs that are digestible and actionable for clients and team members.
  • Work with account teams, with other members of the digital team (website, SEO, paid), and various stakeholders to help meet business goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • 24 years of professional experience; ideally, some of this time will include agency experience
  • Experience with Sprout Social, CoSchedule, Hootsuite, or a similar social media scheduling tool is required
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Campaign Monitor, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Canva or other digital tools are a plus
  • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fastpaced environment
  • Creativity and an eye for design
  • High attention to detail and a penchant for organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens or have all necessary approvals to live/work in the U.S.
  • BA/BS degree
  • In accordance with the CDC and to provide the safest environment for our staff and our clients, we do require that all DCI staff be fully vaccinated.

Salary, benefits and perks:

  • Competitive base salary with unique "open book" management approach that delivers performancebased incentives
  • Supplemental health coverage + company funded HSA
  • Professional mentoring/development
  • Flexible time off
  • RSP match
