Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the daytoday activities of
    Order Management operations which includes up to eight salaried Order Management Representatives
  • Ensure labor balance between the representatives
  • Responsible for ontime and accurate order processing of customer sales orders
  • Assure that all sales orders are processed efficiently and effectively to achieve 98.5% on time deliveries.
  • Respond to the needs of internal and external stakeholders as needed with regards to order fulfillment
  • Additional responsibilities related to Order Management include the following: Broker relations, day end sales reporting, export order creations, credit order/RMA management, shelflife preference management, system optimization and product allocation management in conjunction with Sales (while appropriate).
  • Liaison between High Liner Foods and Logistics / E2Open as it relates to the execution of ontime deliveries and rectify recurring disruptions in service to our customers.
  • Oversee/support prompt investigation of and resolution to any Logisticsrelated deductions.
  • Alert DRP team of any known inventory shortage risks where stock transfers are required.
  • Review shortage reports to assist with ontime transfers of finished goods to the appropriate warehouses.
  • Research, address and rectify any bottlenecks and disruptions to filling customer orders as it relates to distribution planning, inventory control, and customer service. Collaborate with stakeholders to create permanent solutions.
  • Assist with Procurement, Sales & Inventory Planning, DRP, Warehousing, Forecasting and other stakeholders to ensure messages are being generated accurately and according to forecast as needed
  • Weekly Key Performance Indicator monitoring and reporting
  • Budget tracking and reporting for Order Management and applicable T&W functions
  • Ad hoc reporting

Qualifications:


  • Excellent organization skills ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong team player and team leader
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Operations, Logistics and WMS systems to enhance order management and logistics processes
  • Familiarity with Warehouse and/or Transportation Management Systems and understanding of how to leverage it to benefit the operation. Understands and utilizes fundamental process developing techniques to improve efficiencies and productivity
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Create and sustain a safe work environment
  • Effectively manages the team and knows how to leverage personnel to benefit the operation.
  • Knows and utilizes fundamental process developing techniques to improve efficiencies and productivity
  • Must have 25 years of experience in Customer Service or Logistics related operations, specifically in the areas of Order Management and logistics as well as a broadbased experience in overall Supply Chain.
  • Excellent attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effectively utilizes metrics to drive results
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in Logistics, Warehouse Operations or Supply Chain related areas. APICS certification a plus. Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma initiatives preferred.
  • Travel required 10%
