Manager, Transformation & Strategic Performance Management


What is the opportunity?

What will you do?

  • Be the conduit between leadership/senior partners and cross functional teams on performance metrics
  • Build and present content for executive level presentations
  • Produce high fidelity reporting and dashboard solutions which bring immediate or long term value, ensuring that reports are accurate, tailored to the audiences, and are of high visual quality.
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources to inform business decisions
  • Identify trends and patterns in data to provide insights and recommendations
  • Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members and stakeholders across multiple projects and functions.
  • With your team, you will conduct current state analyses against strategic business objectives and broader organizational targets to develop recommendations and execution strategies to achieve desired results.
  • Actively seeks opportunities and works across businesses and functions to drive value through analytics and insights
  • Bring innovative ideas and approaches including bringing the best from inside and outside RBC to how we understand and solution business and functional problems
  • Support the team in identifying opportunities to simplify and automate data gathering, aggregate and drive insight from KPI/Metrics as well as determine potential areas of cost savings and operational efficiency across the organization

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:


  • Previous Consulting experience (25 years)
  • Strong Problem Solving, Analytical, and Data Analysis Skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Comfortable working with the stakeholders, possess the ability to articulate their high level requests into clear detailed written requirements, offering insight, suggestions, beyond current ask
  • Driven and resourceful individual who can work with minimum supervision, competing priorities and at times, ambiguous requirements
  • Experience in business analysis and critical thinking and demonstrated use of productivity tools (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel) Understanding of financial institutions/ industry and interest in business analysis/improvement
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint experience with ability to use PowerPoint and performance data to support storytelling to various audiences
  • Ability to synthesize and drive insights from performance and financial data
  • A curiosity to go "behind the curtain" to learn the problem and offer solutions
  • Ability to work in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments. Comfortable pivoting based on shifting priorities and/or business requirements. A passion for always delivering value and striving to simplify and improve everything, balanced with knowing where to put resources for the greatest impact

Nice to have:


  • Stakeholder facilitation/management skills
  • Experience in Tableau or other reporting tools
  • Experience supporting large scale organizational integrations
  • Knowledge of Canadian & global financial industry
  • Understanding of collecting data from large data sources including data warehouses
  • Experience in design, development, and implementation utilizing big data technologies
