Snow Removal Operator - Toronto, Canada - Citywide lawn care snow removal

Description

Responsibilities:

• Operate snow plow equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and other designated areas
• Remove snow and ice from surfaces using plows, shovels, and other tools
• Spread salt or other deicing materials to prevent slippery conditions
• Monitor weather conditions and respond accordingly to changing snowfall levels
• Perform routine maintenance on snow plow equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

Experience:

• Previous experience operating snow plow equipment is preferred
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment
• Experience in garden or landscape maintenance is a plus
• Ability to maintain and build positive relationships with team members and clients

Please note that this position requires working in various weather conditions and may involve long hours during heavy snowfall events.

The ability to work independently and follow safety protocols is essential.
