Reporting to the Director, Publisher Operations, our Publisher Support Managers help support all of Freestar's clients needs. Working in a proprietary UI you will work on publishers ad configurations for their website. Daily tasks consist of onboarding new clients, troubleshooting issues on publishers websites and trafficking ads.

Working closely with the Yield Managers you will help make updates to ad configurations that aim to help increase revenue for our publishers.

You will also work closely with the Support Engineers when things get more technical. You should be able to work within tight deadlines and fast turnaround times as we are providing a service.

As a core member of our operations team, you need to keep a cool head in spite of all of the "fire drills" going on around you.

The key pillars of our Publisher Operations team are:


  • Attention to Detail. A lot of your day will be following client specs, and delivering on those. A rogue 300x600 where only a 300x250 should have delivered is no bueno.

Analysis. You're going to be looking at a lot of data, so you need to be comfortable with navigating through and combining data sets

Flexibility. You will be juggling a lot of requests and you will need to calmly be able to prioritize them while ensuring everyone's voice is heard.

Product Knowledge. Utilize the tools the company affords you to learn what is going on at Freestar, but also have the willingness to keep up with our constantly changing industry.

Technical Comfort. A strong background and comfort with AdOps, Yield, and ad serving. Reading ad code, and trafficking should be second nature to you.

Project Management. Comfort with using project management software, and seeing a project through from start to finish.


Responsibilities:


  • Regular direct campaign trafficking, both from our sales team and our client's sales teams.
  • Help onboarding new clients by building ad units to spec, as well as helping offer new solutions for existing clients.
  • Perform quality assurance for publisher sites.
  • Work through a variety of AdOps issues as well as technical issues with ad serving.
  • Manage tickets and priorities with the Account and Yield management teams.
  • Ad Hoc reporting requests, providing creative solutions to technical questions.

Qualifications:


  • 23+ years AdOps and/or Yield experience.
  • Experience with direct sold campaigns, programmatic, PMPs, and header bidding.
  • Well versed knowledge of GAM (DFP); strong understanding of Excel, and Google Products.
  • You have an advanced understanding of the programmatic advertising world.
  • Nice to haves (some or all): CSS/HTML, Javascript, SQL
  • You are able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
