- Obtain freight quotes from various transportation companies
- Communicate with customers to obtain approval of shipping costs
- Shop, select, and schedule carriers to ensure efficient logistics
- Manage daily shipments and follow up on deliveries
- Prepare orders from inventory or for auctions
- Prepare all shipping documents (BOL, bills of lading, envelopes, labels, etc.)
- Produce Bills of Lading (BOL) according to carrier requirements
- Process shipments in the PREXTRA system
- Use ORG AGB and Airtable for tracking and planning
- Take photos of shipments and file them in order records
- Scan and file all shipping‑related documents
- Perform yard inventory every three (3) months
- Answer phone calls and greet visitors at the entrance, as needed
- Manage and follow up on emails related to shipping and logistics
- Perform all other related duties as required
- Ability to work in an organized, autonomous, and detail‑oriented manner
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
- A positive, resourceful, collaborative, and respectful attitude
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft, Google Drive, SharePoint (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Excellent communication skills in French and English, both written and verbal, to interact with carriers, customer, team members, and digital tools
