Communication Specialist Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans tailored to different stakeholders involved in the IT Asset Management program
  • Craft clear, concise, and engaging communication materials such as newsletters, presentations, executive summaries, and FAQs to effectively convey program updates, milestones, and key messages.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to the communication capability of the IT Asset Management program, addressing concerns, providing clarification, and facilitating discussions to promote understanding and buyin.
  • Work with key stakeholders to obtain communication requirements (e.g., support documentation, key dates, distribution lists)
  • Establish and maintain a communication calendar
  • Adhere to the Firm's writing style guide, ensuring that we produce highquality and errorfree content
  • Facilitate the distribution and reporting of end user communications
  • Organize and lead regular meetings, workshops, and training sessions to promote awareness, adoption, and compliance with IT asset management policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Proactively identify potential risks, challenges, and communication gaps within the IT Asset Management program and develop mitigation strategies to address them effectively.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and engagement activities through metrics, feedback mechanisms, and stakeholder surveys, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability by promoting open communication channels and encouraging feedback from stakeholders at all levels.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to IT asset management, incorporating relevant insights into communication strategies and engagement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required skills:
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in communications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear, compelling, and accessible manner to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus across organizational boundaries, cultures, and geographies.
  • Experience in developing and executing communication plans, including content creation, distribution channels, and measurement metrics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
  • Strategic and creative mindset
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • A portfolio of writing samples available for review
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and driving positive change within the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to synthesize information, identify trends, and make datadriven recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, collaboration tools, and digital communication platforms (Adobe Experience Manager, HTML, SharePoint, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, XML are a plus but not required)
