CNC Milling Operator - Oakville, Canada - Aeolus Group
Description
Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Set up and program CNC mills, ensuring proper tool selection and machine settings.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to program and machine parts accurately.
- Conduct routine maintenance on CNC milling machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut.
- Check materials, tooling and other elements to set up machine and tools properly.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Milling Operator with a strong track record of producing precision components.
- Proficient in CNC programming and setup.
- Knowledge of various materials and their machining characteristics.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprint
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Job Types:

Salary:
$20.00-$24.00 per hour
