________________________________________Role Overview
We're looking for a detail oriented freelancer to create SEO friendly blog and social media content that maintains a consistent presence on Facebook and LinkedIn, using AI tools to draft and refine posts and occasionally assisting with light administrative and data entry tasks.
This is an on-going, remote, independent contractor role with flexible hours.______________________________________
Key Responsibilities
Blog content (AI + SEO):
- Create and schedule/post 24 posts per year (about 2/month) to promote blog content.
- Draft and edit blog posts on 1031 exchanges and related topics using AI as a starting point. Submit to management for review and approval before posting.
- Optimize posts for SEO (keywords, titles, headings, meta descriptions, internal links, readability).
- Format posts and deliver them ready for publishing. Post on behalf of the company once approved.
- Share blog posts on SM once posted to the website.
Social Media (Facebook & LinkedIn):
- Create and post additional content 1–4 times per week (class announcements, FAQs, key rules, company updates, community engagement, etc.).
- Write professional, engaging copy tailored to each platform, incorporating SEO friendly language where appropriate.
- Use management provided, or help source, simple visuals/graphics as needed.
- Social Media platform (Facebook and LinkedIn) management as needed.
Admin & Data Entry:
As Needed and Agreed Upon
- Update contact lists, spreadsheets, or simple CRM records.
- Create and send bulk emails to subscribers for class advertisements.
- Other admin tasks.
Qualifications
Must have
- Strong writing and editing skills for B2B / professional services (finance, real estate, or similar).
- Experience using AI writing tools plus the ability to carefully edit for accuracy, clarity, and brand voice.
- Practical SEO experience for blog and social content (keyword usage, on page basics).
- Experience managing Facebook and LinkedIn business pages.
- Experience using Wix as a blog hosting platform.
- Reliable, organized, comfortable working independently while adhering to a posting schedule.
- Willingness to handle light admin and data entry tasks.
- Familiarity with 1031 exchanges, real estate investing, or tax/financial topics.
- Experience with simple design tools (e.g., Canva) and project/CRM management tools (e.g., Monday)
- Exposure to basic SEO or analytics tools (e.g., Yoast, simple engagement reports).
Engagement
Type:
Freelance / independent contractor (remote)
Cadence:
Blog creation and post sharing/promotion: 2 per month
Other social posts: 1–4 per week
- Occasional admin/data entry as requested and agreed upon
Pay:
- Hourly, or
- Per post/per admin project
