is an Energy Services company that specializes in the design, delivery and marketing of energy efficiency programs across Canada to help homes and businesses use energy more efficiently.


We are looking to hire a _
Business Development Manager_ to establish new and manage existing trade accounts with contractors in the HVAC, Window, Insulation and Solar industries across Southern Ontario (Windsor to Ottawa, Niagara to Barrie).

Your primary goal will be to establish and manage partnerships with various companies to help them promote the Federal Government's $7 billion dollar Canada Greener Homes Grant Program, which provides homeowners with up to $50,000 in grants and loans for their home.


Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Manage, nurture and grow existing B2B accounts and use your outside sales experience to prospect and develop new business
  • Deliver strong customer service supported by our Call Center and Administrative teams
  • Spend Mondays inoffice planning your week, then make inperson sales visits Tuesday
  • Friday
  • Provide management with weekly updates on all prospective and acquired business, targets and revenue / margin projections

Qualifications:
_Here's what we require..._

  • A strong passion for energy efficiency (direct experience not needed)
  • Must have at least 2 years of sales and/or marketing experience
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as required
  • Must be willing to eloquently and effectively give presentations to large groups of up to 100 people
  • Must be willing to attend tradeshows across Ontario as a representative of the company
  • Must be located within the GTA, and willing to travel across Southern Ontario
  • Must possess a valid "G" class drivers license with access to a car and a clean driving record
  • Must be able to provide a clean criminal background check

Sales experience in the window & door, HVAC, insulation and/or solar industry is an asset_

This position is a full-time role, with car allowance, commission and medical benefits.


Salary:
$60,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
