Description

There is a temporary, thirty-five (35) hour per week position available, with duties effective immediately, ending at a date to be determined, but not later than June 30th, 2024.

LOCATION:
Special Education Services, Catholic Education Centre

EFFECTIVE DATE:
Immediately

SALARY:
In accordance with the terms of the Collective Agreement between the Board and the A.P.S.S.P.
($75,542 - $85,003).

JOBSUMMARY:

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:


Completion of a post-graduate program in Autism, Behavioral Science or Psychology.

 Training in Applied Behavioral Analysis from a recognized facility.

 Experience with the provisions of adult learning and training.

 Experience working with children and youth with special education, in particular those
who have Autism Spectrum Disorder. 

Well-developed organizational and coordination skills.

 Demonstrated skills working with a multi-disciplinary team.

 Experience with best practices in transitions.

 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

This position is covered by the A.P.S.S.P. Collective Agreement.
- an original Criminal Reference Check including Vulnerable Sector Screening, dated within the last six (6) months
