The Opportunity:


  • The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of an Appletree Medical Centre during their clinical shifts. They provide leadership, guidance and support to the clinic staff, and exceptional customer service and support to our clients and patients.
  • Medical Assistants who promote the missions and values of our group, demonstrate core competencies within their current positions, and have a desire to develop their leadership skills are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Compensation: $18/hour, plus additional bonuses based on individual services.

What You'll Do:


The Supervisor will be responsible for the following:

  • Maintain a full-time schedule consisting of clinic shifts (i.e., MA, programs) and administration shifts (to be coordinated and approved by direct manager in advance).
  • Act as a resource to answer nonmedical questions from clinic staff, physicians, and patients.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Create task lists for clinic staff.
  • Prepare and maintain staff schedule two weeks in advance.
  • Approve payroll hours and time off requests.
  • Prepare for monthly site inspections and participate in site inspections of other locations.
  • Monitor EMR program schedules to ensure optimal schedule utilization.
  • Review appointments in EMR to ensure they are confirmed and follow up with the appropriate partiesas necessary.
  • Manage staff training and development.
  • Assess, coach, and manage job performance of all clinic staff.
  • Follow the disciplinary process with staff, as needed.
  • Prepare clinic staff in advance of specialty training, including but not limited to injections and programs.
  • Attend monthly Operations meetings and report on progress towards shared goals.
  • Lead monthly staff meetings with updates provided by the direct manager.
  • Act as a success partner to new colleagues and clients; provide training to new clinic staff.
  • Answer questions, provide support, and report performance concerns to direct manager when appropriate.
  • Oversee and bear responsibility for the maintenance of the high cleanliness, professional and
- performance standards of the clinic.

  • With the direction of the direct manager, implement procedural changes in a timely and effectivemanner.
  • Be an ambassador for Appletree Medical Group. Lead by example and motivate team to perform to theirhighest potential.
  • Work a combination of days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Work at various clinic locations, based on business needs.
  • Other duties, as required.


Supervisors may have the opportunity to train Medical Assistants in one or more specialty programs (e.g., Complete Physicals, Travel Medicine, Allergy Testing, Foot Care, and Wellbaby) based on need.
