Your role

We are looking to fill one (1) on-call position with possibility of extension.


As Distribution and Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for boxing documents and maintaining an inventory of those documents in digital spreadsheets.

Your role will also involve overseeing the circulation of audio and video media.

You will have to check and inspect material being loaned or ordered; recall loans as required; store and file material in accordance with standards; and maintain inventory systems.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six (6) or more months' experience working in a warehouse or performing material handling duties

Skills:


  • Knowledge of standards for receiving, processing and preserving material
  • Knowledge of systems for tracking the circulation, storage and inventory of material
  • Computer skills
  • Punctuality and diligence
  • Ability to work in an environment with frequent interruptions and distractions
  • Ability to lift heavy loads of up to 20 kg
  • Ability to work at heights and in an environment where the temperature can drop to 18 degrees
  • Ability to work the day shift on weekdays, with occasional overtime
