The
Category Support Coordinator provides various category, marketing, and multi unit product support functions including developing data reports, executing product marketing activities, and providing assistance in product lifecycle management from introduction to discontinuance.

Executes the delivery of product marketing activities to maximize Gordon Food Service (GFS) sales and profits of assigned product lines.

What you will do:


Vendor/Item Management

Tactical execution of:

  • New vendor set up
  • New item setup/notification and discontinuation
  • Existing item DC activation/notification
  • Product attribute maintenance (eCommerce information/image collection)
  • Price Equivalent data entry

Project Coordination of Brand Packaging projects for existing items

  • Revision of formula
  • Refresh of packaging due to design elements
  • CMR transition of existing items

Running and formatting standardized reporting

  • Competitive Market Review Predeck data
  • Vendor Business Reporting:
  • Vendor Business Reviews (VBR)
  • IFDA Partners Conference
  • AFD Power Conference
  • Strategic Business Development (SBD)
  • Weekly/Monthly financial dashboards (connectivity to financial services)
  • Customer Velocity Requests (customer/division/supplier)

Transitional Process Management/Implementation

Provides project coordination for CMR product transitions, including:

  • Vendor information/introduction
  • Product information/introduction
  • Timeline management and communication
  • Dashboard results reporting

Marketing Communications/Administrative Tasks
Assists the Category Teams in supporting the corporate marketing campaigns, including:

  • Marketing collateral content proofing
  • Promotional rebate processing
  • Communicates relevant information to support the division, procurement, divisional replenishment, sales and finance teams.
  • Attends and contributes to meetings and activities as requested in support of identified needs and department meetings as appropriate.
Adheres to the mission and cornerstone values and applicable practices of the organization.

Performs other duties as assigned.


When you will work:


  • Monday through Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm.
Hybrid Model: 3 days in office, 2 days remote.


What you'll bring to the table (Qualifications)
-
Must be Bilingual (English and French)

  • High School diploma / Equivalent required
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, resource and time management skills
  • Must possess the ability to learn proprietary sales and reporting systems
