Receptionist - Toronto, Canada - KPMB Architects
Description
Reporting to the Executive Assistant, you will provide efficient and courteous front desk support, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment to guests, clients, and team members.
Please note, this role is in-person, Monday to Friday, 9:00AM to 5:30PM (inclusive of 1-hr lunch break).Key Responsibilities:
As a Receptionist at KPMB Architects, the duties include but are not limited to:
- Welcoming visitors with professionalism, warmth, and a positive demeanor
- Assisting in coordinating meeting room bookings, room set up, catering, and cleanup
- Handling all incoming and outgoing mail and courier
- Keeping track of office supplies inventory and liaising with vendors, suppliers, and service providers
- Responsible for daily office upkeep including the maintenance of office common areas (reception, mailroom, print rooms, employee lounge, meeting rooms)
- Supporting various departments as assigned by Team Leader when required
- Assisting in organizing internal social events
Qualifications & Attributes:
- Previous work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role an asset
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Proficient in using office equipment (ie: photocopier)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to display tact, courtesy, and discretion as needed
- Commitment to deliver outstanding customer service in a positive and professional manner
- Ability to handle various tasks effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a proactive and reliable work ethic

$50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
