OVERVIEW
A structured Cage Cashier role is critical to the success of Parq Vancouver.

The Cage Cashier is a front line position that performs cash and cash equivalent transactions while maintaining the highest level of customer service to our guests.

The successful Cage Cashier demonstrates exceptional customer service aptitude and mathematical skills.

Reporting to the Cage Supervisor, this position ensures transactions are handled accurately, efficiently and in accordance with established policies and procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for providing professional and exceptional customer service in accordance with established company standards
Accepts chips from table games guests in exchange for hard and soft currency
Chip Bank management and reconciliation including chip cleaning and sterilization
Issues of Gaming Table Fills and Credits
Attends ongoing job training and performs other job related duties, as requested by management
Knowledge of all promotions and events for the week/month
Maintains working knowledge of company policies and procedures
Performs foreign currency exchange, debit and credit card withdrawals
Accepts bank drafts, verified win, convenience and PGF cheques
Performs CPV large table buy-ins
Provides redemption transactions for guests
Reconciles assigned cash float at end of shift
Validates TITO tickets from slot machines and exchanges for hard or soft currency
Records entries on the Table Cash Out Tracking Log and Slot Players Tracking Log
Issues and receives Slot Attendant floats, promotional payouts, F and B floats and received deposits and reconciling deposits.
Issues Slot and Lotto jackpots and cancelled credits
Reports all operational exceptions/concerns to Cage Supervisors
Assists in training new cashiers
Verifies cage transactions when required
Counterfeit recognition
Assists in unscheduled box pulls and counts
Performs TIP transactions for all departments
Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing work areas including office supplies, computer equipment and department furnishings throughout all shifts using company provided cleaning products and method


Responsibilities & Qualifications:


UALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Casino gaming experience, an asset
High volume cash handling experience
Previous customer service experience
Efficient computer skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Flexible work schedule to accommodate a 24hr casino environment
Will provide on-going job training
CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES REQUIREMENTS

Ability to obtain a valid GPEB License
Ability to complete all BCLC Certifications
Serving it Right Certification


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Required to sit, stand and walk during working hours
Repetitive motion of hands, wrists and arms
