Duties and Responsibilities:

Ability to set up and operate machinery independently
Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as Manual Mills/Lathes, Drill Press, Sanders, Grinders, and other support equipment

Read and interpret blueprints to ensure parts are being made according to specifications
Uses gauges and measuring instruments to ensure part quality as compared to the requirement
Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner

Ability to construct fixturing for part machining
Ability to understand and properly use cutting tools

Ability to work in a team environment

Proficiency in math.
Ability to use trigonometry and geometry
Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery

Ability to follow manufacturing processes and procedures
Comply with all quality and safety policies, specifications, regulations and instructions


Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: 40 per week


Salary:
$25.00-$30.00 per hour


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
• Overtime pay

Experience:

• Machinist: 10 years (preferred)
