Job Summary
What's the opportunity?
As the Agent of Record Specialist your primary focus would be to review all Life and Living Benefit insurance files for risk and compliance held by RBC Wealth Management Financial Services Inc.
In addition, you will liaise and work with Investment Advisors (Agent of Record)/Estate Planning Specialists to facilitate the assessment of the policy.
What will you do?
- Focus on controls and administration of process for quality and risk management.
- Contributing to and monitoring operational effectiveness reporting and escalating concerns as required.
- Generate a report of policies from our database that have transferred into the agency.
- Access policies by doing the following:
- Check the carrier site first to confirm if policy is still inforce
- Compare the client and policy information on our CRM database verses the carrier site.
- Specific policies will require additional documentation to assist with the findings and assessments especially whole life and universal life products.
- Request universal Life and whole life current inforce illustrations.
- All communications with the carriers, advisor (agent of record) Estate Planning Specialists must be documented in our data base.
- Assessments, inforce illustrations or original documents are to be uploaded to our CRM database system.
- Assess/discover and investigate if policy is onside or offside and provide findings and assessment documents to both the advisor/agent of record and Estate Planning Specialist.
What do you need to succeed?
- Minimum 12 years in a life and living benefits insurance role.
- Postsecondary studies in a related field.
- Excellent communication skills
- Life & Accident/Sickness Insurance License (LLQP)
