WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?


The Financial Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to provide insights and recommendations that guide strategic financial decisions within an organization.

They help assess the financial health, performance, and risks associated with various business activities.


WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Full cycle accounting includes closing the month end, posting journal entries in SAP
  • Prepare Logistics Report for Freight to Customer, Freight to Terminal and Clinker/ Slag Freight at each month end
  • Reconcile Provision for Rebates balance in SAP and High Radius at each month end
  • Assist Director Logistics and Finance Manager in preparation of power point slides to present logistics cost to Cement Executives at monthly meeting
  • Prepare logistics costs Rolling forecast and Mid-Month Flash every month
  • Prepare annual Budget and 5 years Strategy Plan for logistics costs every year
  • Prepare adhoc reports as requested by management

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking, problemsolving abilities
  • Undergraduate degree on finance, accounting
  • Progressing towards CPA or CPA is nice to have
  • 3+ years proven experience of SAP FICO Module
  • Knowledge (technical/practical/managerial)
  • 3+ years Cement Industry experience is an asset
  • 5+ years Manufacturing industry experience
