POSITION: As an integral member of the Pharmacy Services team at the UHN COVID-19 Vaccination Centres, the PHARMACIST is responsible for: supervise production of COVID-19 vaccine preparation, checking & labeling of prepared vaccine, document vaccine production and monitor production metrics to inform clinic/pharmacy leadership for decision making to minimize wastage, manage inventory of supplies on site, triage clinic-related issues and escalate to Clinic/Pharmacy leadership as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD
  • Active licensure with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP)
  • Experience:

  • Previous hospital experience with central dispensary or centralized IV admixture preferred
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and to manage competing priorities/deadlines.
  • Ability to work variable shifts.

  • Professional Affiliations/Memberships:

  • Membership with the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists (CSHP) preferred.
  • Additional Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, detail-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
