C++ Software engineer (BB-ACAE4)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement modules of an enterprise software solution that runs on various desktop and mobile platforms (Windows, Linux, macOS)

  • Create technical designs for your features and participate in design efforts together with other feature owners and architects

  • Analyze new requirements, investigate feasibility, suggest implementation options and estimate efforts timeline, dependencies and risks

  • Collaborate closely with other development team members, including some being located at other parts of the world

  • Design and run your own unit test cases

  • Integrate and deploy your code as part of a Continuous Integration process

  • Participate in design and code reviews

  • Perform development testing for your modules


Required Skills:


  • 5+ years of experience in the software development industry

  • 3+ years of experience on Windows OS, MacOS or Linux OS

  • 3+ years of really strong experience in C++, on a modern version of C++ (minimum version 11, with knowledge of the language features introduced recently)

  • Focused on clean good code

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

  • Fluent Agile software development process practitioner

  • Comfortable working in self-organizing teams, ready to take initiative, confident to ask for help, share status, give help, mature enough to get constructive feedback on code and design

  • Bachelor's degree in Software/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or comparable relevant experience


Bonus Skills:


  • Understanding of cross-platform software engineering and porting

  • Java experience

  • C# experience

  • JavaScript, React.js, React Native or Electron experience

  • Driver experience

  • Peer programming experience

  • CI/CD expertise

  • Experience with backend services, REST APIs, public or private clouds, containers

  • Windows System Admin/Management, Linux System Admin/Management expertise


Microsoft Active Directory, SAML, OpenID, OAuth expertise
