Overthe next 30 years our shipbuilders will construct 20+ modern patrol ships andsurface combatants for the Royal Canadian Navy as part of Canada's NationalShipbuilding Strategy, the largest defence procurement in Canadian history. This year, we delivered thelead Arctic and Offshore Patrol Ship, the largest Navy ship built in Canada in50 years and we're just getting started. The second ship will be delivered in 2021.

The Director, Quality Control role is a permanent, full-timeposition based in the Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia. The languageof work is English.
The Director, QualityControl is responsible for the quality control function in new construction andship repair. The Director leads a teamof Quality Control Managers, Engineers and Inspectors. In addition to ensuring build/repairstandards and practices adhere to rules and regulations, the Director QualityControl will establish and foster relationship both internally (operations,planning, engineering & training leadership) and externally (Customers andClassification partners).

All successful applicants must meetrequirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian GovernmentSecurity clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).This position also requires NATO security clearance.
