Job Summary Recommend strategy and plans for better than-market growth within a designated segment to the Regional Management Team. Design/ recommend changes in the value propositions offered to key stakeholders in the various sub-segments served, contributing to the overall customer experience Give guidance to the development of the product portfolio, services and channel access Run the marketing planning, execution and measurement process for his/her segment
Principal Responsibilities Foster profitable growth by developing the IPEX position in segments already addressed as well as new segments. Deepening the relationship with key decision makers, and by expanding the offering and developing of full solutions. Ensure in-depth understanding of end-customer needs within the segments served. Develop and manage differentiated value propositions to be offered to key stakeholders in terms of products, systems, delivery and services. Recommend the Innovation priorities within the Segment to the Innovation Committee. Develop a strong collaborative relationship with sales. Aligning sales and marketing goals with those of the organization as a whole. Provide support to the sales force through product information, customer visits, troubleshooting, assistance with product information sessions and promotion of new products Manage the development and distribution of marketing materials and promotions for the specific portfolio and curriculum for educational initiatives Together with Sales Leadership, develop initiatives to improve channel access, and suggest improvements related to commercial excellence and processes. Develop new go-to-market models with Product Management and Innovation teams. Develop and implement product launches, product phase out and product support and maintenance plans Develop and manage a complete marketing program for the successful introduction, marketing and sale of the products Monitor and manage product life cycles (forecasting) and portfolio messaging Work closely with group segment managers to develop regional marketing plans. Drive group marketing processes across the region via segment marketing plan design and execution. Collaborate with a regional team of marketing experts to accomplish the tasks above.Ability to forecast, allocate and manage budget for integrated marketing activities.
Qualifications & Experience Degree in marketing or business studies (Masters preferred) 10 years (sales &) marketing experience in a multinational B2B environment or managerial experience in a downstream business (Contractor, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) or consultant). Expert knowledge of key stakeholders in the designated segment Experience with the marketing planning processes Experience with CRM systems an asset Conceptual understanding of category management and multi-channel strategies Project management experience Able to deal with complexity and uncertainty Excellent written and oral English skills. French language skills an asset Strong influencing skills (up, down, across the organization)
