We are on the hunt for a friendly and experienced Grocery Clerk to ensure that the grocery area of our market is well-maintained and running efficiently.  You will act as the first point of contact with customers and help them with information and support in buying their groceries. Your duties may include preparing sale displays, ensuring the store is clean, stocking products, and processing customer orders. To exceed in this role, the ideal candidate will have a friendly and open attitude, with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. 

Responsibilities may include: Ask customers about their needs and help them in making purchases, Help customers to the appropriate aisle or shelve in order to assist with purchasing decisions, Provide excellent customer service, Ensure the store is clean, safe and in good order, Stock and replace products daily, Keep shelves fully stocked with fresh products, Receive deliveries of product to the store, Provide daily inventory stock counts, Clean and dust shelves and products, Prepare in-store displays and ensure that products are accurately labeled, Order out of stock products, Process customers orders and payment, Discard expired items and place near expiry items on special promotion 

Requirements:19 years of age or older, Food Safe Level 1, Great attention to detail, Good communication and people skills, A minimum of 2 years experience as a grocery clerk, Proven customer service or retail experience, Able to scan items accurately in a fast paced work environment, Able to take on new tasks and learn new skills, Able to handle cash in a responsible and trustworthy manner

Shift hours are 3:30 to 10:30 Monday to Thursday and 10:30 to 5:30 Friday. This is a permanent 35 hours per week positon 40,040.00 per year with advancement in both wages and responsibilities for the right GREAT GROCERY CLERK
