JOB TITLE: Inside Sales Support
REPORT TO: Office Supervisor
Reporting to the Office Supervisor, The Inside Sales group supports customers by providing knowledgeable information, answering questions and responding to complaints. We are the front line support for the sales organization and our customers. Creating and maintaining positive relationships is an essential part of our job, we must respond to customers in a friendly and professional manner. Inside sales plays a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
Responsibilities Answer all inquiries via email and telephone to assist customers. Support retail customers and contractors with their purchases, via design assistance (calculating square footage required), order entry and any future inquiries that arise. Retrieve hand-selected product samples from designated sample area and loading into requesting customers vehicles. Process all cash, check and credit card transactions and ensure payments received balance daily. Daily administrative tasks, including processing paperwork and review outstanding orders to check for status change on non-committed product at time of entry. Assist with various mailings, especially those that occur pre-season. Perform random tractor-trailer checks to ensure load accuracy before delivery. Participate in and assist with cycle counting throughout the year, as well as yearly full yard counts. Participate in and assist with Seconds Sale. Other task and special projects as assigned.
Requirements Exceptional customer service skills are required. Problem solving and math skills are required. Strong computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office applications. Ability to manage competing priorities, work with strict deadlines, attend to projects, and work processes with excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Ability to build effective relationships with all customers. Ability to build effective relationships with all levels of management and employees within the Sales and Marketing departments. Ability to lift 25 pounds.
