Position & responsibility:

  • You will work closely with members of the test and development team to replicate and validate problems with customers.
  • Often discuss with the support/TAC team to obtain extra information from the client.
  • These issues are related to the hardware and software of our wireless products
  • Team spirit is important for sharing ideas to recreate these issues.
  • You will have the chance to learn the new features introduced in each of the releases to use this knowledge in future cases.
  • Install and configure new test equipment
  • Ability to develop scripts in Python to optimize the execution of your tests
  • Work with developers to replicate customer issues
  • Validate the solution to the problem in different release
  • Document these cases in test procedures for the automation team to support
  • Share the information with the solution team so that they increase their test coverage
  • Discuss occasionally with the client for more information
  • Technical requirements

  • Knowledge of Wi-Fi technologies and TCP / IP networks (switch, access point, router, DHCP server ...)
  • Good knowledge of Linux
  • Assets

  • Experience in test automation (BASH, Python)
  • CCNA and / or CWNA certification.
  • Knowledge of Ixia / Bugzilla / Wireshark / Vmware products
  •  Education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Experience in quality assurance or in technical support
  • Good level in French and English - written and spoken
