Part Time Accounting Clerk – Work from Home

GTA

$21-22 hourly

Approximately 25 hours per week

Summary of the role:

This is part-time work- from- home accounting clerk position for an international company

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

You have at least two years experience in accounts payable and receivable and are seeking a part time role

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

Processes purchase orders and invoices

Receives calls and answers inquiries from vendors

Prints and posts invoices, credit memos, and cash receipts, monitors for proper approval and verifies for accuracy

Prepares and delivers bank deposits

Enters data into the computer, verifying accuracy of data

Assembles reports, compiles data, summarizes records/reports

Performs collections and account reconciliations

Communicates with clients on shortages and overpayments of invoices.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

Knowledge of accounting principles

Completion of a college diploma or degree in accounting or finance

2+ years accounts payable and receivable experiece

Excellent computer skills especially in Microsoft Excel

Experience using NetSuite is an asset
