Working together to provide essential services to communities across Western Canada, we are hiring a Supply Chain Systems Analyst (temporary, up to 12 months) on a temporary basis at our Home Office in Saskatoon, SK.

What you’ll do:

You will be responsible for the maintenance and ongoing development of inventory management and promotional systems. In collaboration with other departments, you will develop and maintain systems related to supply chain efficiency and profitability, such as EOQ, investment buys, seasonal holdouts, and critical item management. Finally, you will support the integration of existing supply chain systems from JDA with JDA PMM.

  • You will support the administration and continued development of JDA Manugistics buying system, including upgrades, basic Oracle server maintenance, end user training, reporting, and direct support and guidance for approximately 20 daily users.
  • You will directly participate in the eventual installation and integration of existing supply chain systems from JDA (Space Planning, Floor Planning, Manugistics, and Promotions Management) with JDA PMM as the new foundation for supply chain information management and Order Management System. 
  • You will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of JDA Intactix Knowledge Base shelf management and Web Publishing systems, including upgrades, SQL server integration, reporting, training, and direct support of 6 daily users.
  • You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of custom systems to support activities of the Promotion and Advertising groups, including promotion forecasting regression models, custom promotion planning system database, and custom electronic flyer layout planning tools. Eventual support for conversion of these custom systems to the best of breed solutions.

    Who you are:

    You are looking for a career in Information Technology and:

  • You have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • You have a minimum of 6-9 years of relevant progressively responsible experience, including at least 1-3 years of experience in supply chain.
  • Proficiency in SAS, SQL server, Oracle PL/SQL & SQL*Plus and related experience with JDA Manugistics (demand/fulfillment/promotions) and/or JDA Space Planning suite would be considered a significant asset (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
