MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Junior Project Analyst on behalf of our client. The Junior Project Analyst assists on a wide breadth of commercial and residential real estate development projects and works closely with many different team members across all departments including development, construction, finance ,and accounting as part of a collaborative team-based culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES:.

  • Assist with preparing monthly Project Projection Reports
  • Input actuals monthly into project proformas and cashflows
  • Enter approved budgets and budget change requests in job cost system • Input and process customer progress billings
  • Key member of the ERP implementation team
  • ERP dashboard creation and maintenance based on Development Manager needs
  • Backup for preparing monthly progress draws
  • Assist Project/Development Managers with contract administration ensuring approved contract is entered as a commitment and/or PO in the system
  • Assist Project/Development Managers with ensuring approved change orders are input in the system for the budget, the costing, and the contract
  • Assist Project/Development Managers with project administration limited to: ? Circulating milestone proforma for signatures
  • Distributing project meeting minutes • Backup for Staff Accountant accounts payable duties
  • Backup Development Analyst for processing Letter of Credit requests
  • Projects as assigned by the Finance Manager

    • REQUIREMENTS:

  • A junior accountant in the early levels of the CPA program
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bright, motivated individual who thrives in a demanding and stimulating work environment
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Developed skills in Excel, and experience with integrated ERP and Power BI tools an asset
  • An understanding of and experience in real estate accounting and finance is preferred.
