To maintain PPI’s exacting level of service, we are looking for an Information Services Coordinator to join our IT Team. This position can be located in Calgary or Toronto.
Information Services Coordinator
The Information Services Coordinator will perform mainly administrative and some technical tasks to ensure functionality and efficiency of computer and telecom systems at PPI. As part of the Information Services team, you will work interactively with the Manager, Information Services, and other Helpdesk, Infrastructure and Security team members.
Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities
Perform administrative tasks (e.g. Telco Commissioning/Decommissioning, Dial plans)
Coordinate license, warrantee, and certificate renewals
Participate in security incident response as required
Helping users become compliant in accordance with company security policies
Be a point of contact between end-users and the infrastructure and security teams
Monitor and triage ticket queues as required
Secondary Responsibilities
Assist the Helpdesk team with projects
Provide technical support for computer systems and networks
Collaborate with team members to maintain standards and functionality
Other duties as required
Occasional travel may be required within Canada
Education, Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience as an Information Services Coordinator or similar role
Industry certifications (CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+ etc.) preferred
Experience with IT systems and applications and an understanding of network concepts and services required
Proven documentation skills and diligence in ticketing and recording technical information
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Self-motivated with outstanding time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven accuracy and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships and work within a team environment
Genuine desire to provide superior quality service
Must be fluent in English; French would be considered an asset
