Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together

Working within our Home Solutions team, the content strategist plays a key role in creating seamless digital experiences for our customers through engaging content. You will help set the direction and quality of Client web content while updating and maintaining our content standards and processes.

Content strategists at Client digital are experienced content professionals – responsible for using data and best practices to develop strategies that connect project and business goals to customer needs. The ability to communicate content value, strategy, and requirements to stakeholders and team members is a core component of this role.

Our content strategists are expected to contribute to the overall practice culture by helping to coach fellow content practitioners. Educating our partners and teams by sharing best practices and learnings ensures we are able to design great content.

As a part of the Home Solutions team, you’ll help deliver a customer-first experience by continually optimizing our product and eCommerce strategy. Along with championing content with other teams within Client, you’ll know what it takes to deliver a great omnichannel experience for our customers.

To help you execute your role, you’ll lean on our teams in Design, Development, Testing, Analytics, and Marketing.

Here’s how

  • Leveraging your skills in research, competitive and content auditing, and interpretation of digital analytics to inform content strategy recommendations
  • Providing content recommendations and best practices by developing strategic planning documentation
  • Advocating for content by presenting content strategies and best practices across digital and holding workshops with stakeholders and team members
  • Working alongside our Design and Content leads and other team members to build great experiences
  • Closely supporting our Designers, Content Managers and Writers to ensure content strategy and approach is understood, measured and optimized
  • Contributing to our site governance and editorial standards across our products
  • Identifying and analyzing trends in content, design, technology, and marketing that can be leveraged to support the strategic aims of client Digital
  • You're the missing piece of the puzzle

  • Content strategist with 3-5 years experience developing content strategies for digital, omnichannel experiences
  • Demonstrable experience driving business KPIs with complex projects
  • Deep understanding of content strategy best practices, including journey mapping, research requirements, on-page SEO, content templates/decks, and content hierarchies
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, an experienced writer and editor
  • Someone who can gracefully give and receive feedback – a proven consensus builder
  • Adept at working in a highly-collaborative, lean, agile environment
  • Highly detail oriented and organized, with exceptional analytical skills
  • Knowledge of information architecture, content taxonomies, and design systems
  • Understand the importance of creating accessible content and how that applies to WCAG 2.0 AA principles
  • Must Have Skills:

  • 4+ Years Content Strategy/Content Design
  • SEO Experience
  • Previous Analytics Experience
  • Previous experience Copywriting
  • Nice to have skills: (please at least 3 skills/exp):

  • Information Architecture or site architecture
  • Demonstrated Content planning Experience
  • Previous Stakeholder management experience
