We are looking for talented and passionate individual who wants to collaborate and solve challenging problems and make significant and lasting impacts for Canadians. This role will own operations reporting and analytics across all business categories as well as process improvements to drive efficiencies in our grocery fulfillment operations.
What you’ll do
Lead a small team of skilled data analysts and engineers, cultivating a culture of collaboration, customer centricity and continuous improvement.
Own all operational performance metrics related to efficiency and customer experience, making data and reporting available for all stakeholders.
Collaborate with Loblaw Digital partners on the overall roadmap of making relevant data readily available across all business functions to reduce manual work.
Collaborate with the Data Science team to design and productionalize algorithms to improve customer experience and colleague efficiency
Collaborate with Operations Leadership team members, stakeholders & Loblaw corporate partners to continuously define opportunities and launch pilots to improve overall efficiencies and reduce our cost to serve.
Set monthly, quarterly & annual operational targets that are achievable through corresponding initiatives being delivered by the overall operations team, aligning targets to the team roadmap.
Provide both finance and the Corporate team labour projections for budgeting and planning purposes and supports retail stores with labour scheduling tools.
Your Experience includes:
Leading a data analytics team
Driving business impacts through advanced analytics, extracting meaningful insights from large data sets.
In-depth knowledge of various analytic tools (e.g SQL, python, Looker or other analytics and visualization programs) and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS)
Proven ability to influence stakeholders through building trusting and collaborative relationships.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both written and verbal.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, results-oriented organization.
Working knowledge of process improvement and supporting methodologies.
Developing data/analytics ecosystems in complex corporate environments is an asset
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and ambiguous environment
