The Red Hat Global Workplace Solutions team is looking for a Workplace Manager to join us in Toronto, Canada. In this role, you will work with a local and regional team of facility operations professionals in support of site management. You’ll be responsible for managing office services and programs, implementing Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) initiatives, office communications, space utilization management, identifying trends, patterns, and relationships in data analytics, finance tracking, budgeting, and invoice processing. Additional tasks include event planning, meeting support, vendor management, phone support, visitor management, logistics, ticket management, office space presentability, and presence. This position is for someone who is highly self-motivated, strives for excellence, adapts well to change, is solutions and data-driven, and has excellent time and task management in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Primary job responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for associates, customers, vendors, property management, and other guests Provide employee resource management; connect associates with Red Hat services, communities, and culture Be responsible for front-of-house presentability and presence and meeting room readiness Manage phone support for the local site and the shared regional phone queue, visitor check-in, and badge administration Maintain best in class customer service delivery at all times Be responsible for managing office services, programs, and other GWS initiatives Provide regional program team support, including team lead responsibilities Perform space utilization auditing and management; assess seating needs and furniture or equipment layouts Manage regional projects from start to finish, including preparing and presenting business justifications, the scope of work and budget requirements, ROI, ongoing real-time on-demand status updates, etc. Be responsible for workplace compliance with health, safety, and environment policies Coordinate with Red Hat Branding to ensure site branding is effective, maintained, and adheres to the policy Be responsible for facility maintenance and site operational efficiency Be responsible for site service and program communications, building notifications, and office mailing list management Provide event planning and meeting support; coordinate activities to support cross-functional office events, meetings, and parties Manage site intranet presence; update site information, contact details, access requirements, and emergency details Provide logistics support; manage mail and shipping Support local and regional security systems and teams to ensure adherence to the global Red Hat security policy Create, track, and forecast site budget, including rent, utilities, and other operating costs Track invoices and expenses Purchase order creation, receiving, and tracking Manage vendors; vendor selection, quality control, contract review, and on-site point of contact
