Time Entry Clerk (12 Month Contract) (BB-C8906)

Reporting to the Manager, Administration, this 12 month contract position provides service writing and administrative support functions as they relate to parts and service work orders within well established and clearly defined policies and procedures. 

Duties included, but are not limited to:

  • Opening, maintaining, and closing work orders.

  • Service writing and administrative support.
  • Maintaining and costing work orders and tracking components to ensure job is progressing and report on issues to appropriate personnel as required.
  • Review technicians’ time cards and enter comprehensive and detailed information regarding the daily corrective repairs and maintenance work completed by the technicians.
  • Invoicing customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

  • Office Administration Certificate, and two years of administrative experience in an operational or service setting.

  • 2 to 3 years of experience with opening, closing, and maintaining work orders.
  • Experience with time entry and/or payroll is considered an asset.
  • High attention to detail is imperative. 
  • Excellent communication skills - verifying and exchanging information with internal and external resources.

  • Excellent computer skills - working with Microsoft Office. Knowledge of eXtend ERP system is a definite asset.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
