Description:

Alteo is looking for Level 1 and Level 2 IT Technicians for permanent jobs based in the Quebec province.

*** Post Covid: about 50% of remote work + Job location could be: Quebec city, Victoriaville, Sherbrooke, Boucherville, or anywhere in the Quebec Province***

Responsibilities:

Provide in-house computer support and assistance for existing customers (onsite and remote support);

Perform integration, installation and configuration of secure local area networks, computer equipment and computer applications;

Ensure the maintenance and administration of systems and applications;

Diagnose and deal with operational incidents;

Write deployment procedures and various technical documents.

Profile:

DEC in IT or the equivalent

2 to 10 years of experience as IT Technician

Very good knowledge of operating systems Microsoft Windows server (2003-2012), Windows 7 & 8, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SQL;

Good knowledge of TCP / IP protocol;

Very good knowledge of computer hardware;

Good knowledge of networks (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.);

Asset: Knowledge of virtualization with VMWare, Hyper-V tools;

Asset: Knowledge of Infrastructure (SAN);

Asset: Knowledge of Linux / Unix;

Asset: Recognized certification (e.g. VCP, A +, MCNA, MCP, CCNA, or other);

Dynamism, proactivity, great autonomy, innovative approach and resourcefulness;

Excellent customer service skills, a desire to serve clients well and ensure constant customer follow-up;

Good analytical and synthesis skills;

Excellent teamwork skills;

Sense of organization and rigor in his work;

Ability to deliver on time;

Essential: Possess a valid driver's license and a car;
