We are seeking a customer centric, analytical and results-oriented Email Marketing Specialist. In this role, you will help lead our marketing automation activities and execution of our centralized email and SMS campaigns to drive customer acquisition and loyalty. You will also be responsible for reporting and analytics of all campaigns as you help drive performance improvements through A/B and multivariant testing. The ideal candidate loves managing all aspects of email campaign deployment and has the right balance of technical knowledge, analytical skills to support campaign optimization and an understanding of the customer and the journeys that support customer engagement and acquisition.
Responsibilities: Ownership of easyhome and easyfinancial’s annual email deployment calendar and management of cross functional email requests for deployments from various departments Provide domain expertise and be the point person for email and marketing automation platform using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Leads all day-to-day email marketing activities including, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered, and dynamic customer driven campaigns and journeys Develop email copy that is in line with brand tone of voice and help manage external copy writing resources as required Build and code email campaigns using HTML, database file/segment selection, and quality assurance of all outbound campaigns Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation, technical issues, and other aspects of email execution, as required Help maintain existing automated email journeys and sequences to ensure automated programs are continuously optimized to drive lead conversion and customer engagement Build logic, validate and implement automated workflows and triggered email deployments Serve as an expert relative to compliance & best practices, list clean-up and maintaining a clean database, prospect and subscriber segmentation, improving email deliverability, data integrity, etc Design and execute segmentation and content personalization strategy Provide support for email database growth strategies including new email lead generation campaigns Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as marketing, sales, support, IT to ensure alignment on business needs and requirements Responsible for email marketing reporting and analysis to provide recommendations for marketing optimizations that enhance performance Develop and execute actionable weekly and monthly reports to the business Optimize conversion rates with A/B testing using data in Google Analytics and email platforms Ensure email compliance with CASL
Qualifications: 5-6 years of email marketing or relevant experience 2+ years of experience overseeing and managing the entire scope of email marketing from strategy development, design to execution to analysis preferred for e-commerce clients (e-commerce experience is required) Deep expertise in Salesforce and Marketing Cloud platforms Expertise in written and verbal skills to help support the creative development of content Problem solver who is experienced in building solutions to fix inefficient and broken processes and system A strong understanding of email marketing best practices, industry standards and how to set KPIs to reach targets An interest in learning and exploring other marketing communications including SMS A breadth of knowledge spanning from automated trigger flows, campaign personalization to segmentation Excellent Excel/Sheets and data handling skills with the ability to analyze campaign data and draw insights to form strategic recommendations Knowledge of how different online marketing channels work together (email, paid social, affiliate, organic, paid search, lead gen, etc.) to optimize acquisition efforts and total CPA A proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple clients & projects, conflicting priorities and project scope Strong communication and presentation skills, attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design, Communications, or equivalent
